PASSION

PASSION

Bari (say it like Barry) has lived most of her wonderful life in Vermont. Very happily married for 16 years to her partner Vin and living in Woodstock, Vermont, she began her fitness journey at college in 1990, teaching aerobics classes to fellow students. Since then, her passion to be a delightfully positive, living example of health and fitness led her to develop BODY BY BARI, so that everyday, she can share her passion to benefit others.

Today, BODY BY BARI offers WELLNESS to others through classes and training to be physically fit, meditations to relax the mind and guidance for healthy eating.

Bari has a wide range of physical fitness classes – Personal Group Trainings, low impact cardiovascular workouts, high energy/high impact exercise and water aerobics – you can also engage Bari for private personal trainings. She is committed to helping you reach your BODY BY BARI WELLNESS goals. It all starts with her positive attitude, constant encouragement and gentle pushes to help you go just a little bit farther. She loves guiding people to workout correctly and safely while challenging them at their individual fitness levels.

Vin takes you farther along the path to WELLNESS with guided meditations to STRESS LESS and plenty of tips to NOURISH, including healthy eating choices, food nutrition, and meal planning and preparation.

BODY BY BARI WELLNESS

Why WELLNESS? How do I get to WELLNESS? What is WELLNESS anyway?

Why WELLNESS? Beyond longevity and vitality, WELLNESS practices help us attain our personal best of health and reward us with looking and feeling good physically, mentally and emotionally, plus the bonus of a good night’s sleep.

You get to WELLNESS one step at a time. Simply decide to live in good health and have fun doing it. Once the decision is made, one baby step at a time, embrace clean eating, find joy in your daily physical activities like walking or whatever movement you happen to be doing in the moment. Think about your blood carrying oxygen, nutrients and energy to all the parts of your body and your heart, mind and vital organs all benefiting as a result of being active. This kind of thinking will start you on the path to relaxation and mindful awareness. At night make sleep a priority.

WELLNESS is living day to day with practices and patterns that support good health. Health reflects the condition of body and mind. Attaining personal health means living a life that embodies WELLNESS actions daily by:

  • Taking care of your body through physical activity, including rest – getting a good sleep (7-9 hours) every night.

  • Practicing a mindfulness technique(s) that helps your mind be clearer – this is great for to making good decisions and bringing awareness to your WELLNESS actions.

  • Eating cleanly – consuming unprocessed foods, mostly fruits, vegetables and protein (to build muscle) and lots of water to stay hydrated – helping to keep you flexible and fluid!

  • Getting a daily dose of nature / fresh air / the outdoors whenever possible.

BODY BY BARI WELLNESS focuses on helping others to practice healthy physical movement, relaxing the mind, and making good eating and lifestyle choices.
